Week 19 (11st Jan--17th Jan)

This is the second week since I came back from UK to Germany.
It's a really unlucky week for me. I was really really very very sad on this Thursday.
OK, Let's start the story from the begining.

In this week we got a new task for us to acheive.
It's about Camera imaging processing.
At first I really got damn excited about it, because I am a real big fan of camera and pictures.

As we get this new task, we get a new computer and new Lab. This picture above it's about how does the system works.it's used for detecting the shape of the tyre. so that we could make sure they are in the same position, and this system is widly used in many big tyre companies nowadays.

This tyre is one of the testing tyres for us. and it's made in Germany.
Finally I found one thing which is made in Germany.
cooolest.

When I had a break or need some information for this project, we could use this computer to do researching.(it's a new computer just for us right now.)

This is the nicest ground just out of the canteen. and it's a forest there also.

I wrote my name on the snoow.

I was  on my way back home.

Now almost all the things happend in this week, we did our new project, we study the new knowledge by ourselves.
But, I was really damn sad on Thursday.
Because I was planning to continue my further study here since I graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, but I was just told, it's impossible to transfer my result or something to continue, I have to restart from the beginning, even I continue the same course here.
after that, I slept in my bed for about 3 days to recover.
because I worke really very hard for this case. I tried my best to study German Language.
but now```all things are gone`````

the last day of this week, Jeeva and I had a dinner together in my house.

we played a very boring game, is to throw a cover of a bottle into my galsses.
lol
the end for this week.

Week 18(4th Jan 2010--10th Jan 2010)

I left London in this Tuesday.
I will miss the nice and city, and miss all my friend there.
I really feel very thankful to my friends there.
Even they had been most of the places before, but they still accompany me to show me around the London City.
Sometimes I felt tired. I knew that they must be tired too. but they never mention anything.
All the thanks to them.

Before I left London I drew one Tee for my best friend in London.

It's a Chinese "Erhu", but it's a bit weird that the erhu was drawn in a crime t-shirt.

On the day I left, I went to the Oxford street in London, but I bought nothing, because I ran out of my money.

it's a really nice design carpet. . but it's cost more than 1500 pounds!!!!

This picture was taken in a toy shop! really a damn big shop for bear!

I really want to bring back one of them```but it's too ex```:(

As I left London. I just found how nice it is.
Just like Singapore, as I left. I start to miss my friend and the hot city!

one beautiful lady stood by the entrance of the toy shop.

This image really make me think of SIngapore!```Orchard road!!``haha

As I reached Germany, I took a long long sleep``` I was really very tired```Germany is much colder than England.
the whole environment is pure white.

The snow was everywhere.

Week 17th Happy New year of 2010(28 Dec 2009---3 Jan 2010)

I continued this week in London.
I have been many different kinds of places.

so
...
let's start the journey now.

the first stop for me of this week is the tower of London.

The Tower of London is often identified with the White Tower, the original stark square fortress built by William the Conqueror in 1078. However, the tower as a whole is a complex of several buildings set within two concentric rings of defensive walls and moat.

The tower's primary function was a fortress, a royal palace, and a prison (particularly for high status and royal prisoners, such as the Princes in the Tower and the future Queen Elizabeth I). This last use has led to the phrase "sent to the Tower" (meaning "imprisoned"). It has also served as a place of execution and torture, an armoury, a treasury, a zoo, the Royal Mint, a public records office, an observatory, and since 1303, the home of the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom.

Today the Tower of London is cared for by an independent charity, Historic Royal Palaces, which receives no funding from the Government or the Crown.

I was in the telephone stop in the tower of London.

in the tower of London, there are many valuable stuff.
like the crown of the queen, and many nice videos of the Royal family.

I was in the prison of the castle, the metal on my hand was used for the guys who were jailed.

hahahah```I was following the palace guard behind me.

haha``finally it's dinner time!!I was damn hungry!!

now I move to tower bridge.

Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, England, over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name.Name It has become an iconic symbol of London.

The bridge consists of two towers which are tied together at the upper level by means of two horizontal walkways which are designed to withstand the horizontal forces exerted by the suspended sections of the bridge on the landward sides of the towers. The vertical component of the forces in the suspended sections and the vertical reactions of the two walkways are carried by the two robust towers. The bascule pivots and operating machinery are housed in the base of each tower. Its present colour dates from 1977 when it was painted red, white and blue for the Queen's Silver Jubilee. Originally it was painted a chocolate brown colour.

Tower Bridge is sometimes mistakenly referred to as London Bridge, which is actually the next bridge upstream. A popular urban legend is that in 1968, Robert McCulloch, the purchaser of the old London Bridge that was later shipped to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, believed that he was in fact buying Tower Bridge. This was denied by McCulloch himself and has been debunked by Ivan Luckin, the seller of the bridge.

The nearest London Underground station is Tower Hill on the Circle and District Lines, and the nearest Docklands Light Railway station is Tower Gateway.
